Shores Gallery

I sketch and paint a lot of beaches and seascapes. Most of these are from Wester Ross and the Outer Hebrides. I first visited Harris and Lewis in 2013 and returned in 2014 and just love the colours and the wildness. I hope I manage to convey this in my paintings.

Based on a sketch I did standing inside the harbour at Johnshaven on the Angus Coast. I did the sketch in January 2015, then did a small watercolour study followed by this acrylic which I got framed at the end of February 2015.
