Natural Selection Gallery

A series of handcrafted prints giving a slightly quirky take on vegetables and botanical matter. All these prints spring from photographs I've taken. I transfer the photographic image on to photo-sensitive film which forms the basis of the plate. I then ink up the plate and make a print. Editions are small - no more than 10.

I've drawn this tree a few times after sketching a tree I saw in Aberdour. For this etching I drew the tree again on film then etched it on to a type of solarplate.
Edition of 20.
Unframed price - �£60.

I'll be doing an edition of 30 using soft black ink.
